Company Administration
Company Administrators are responsible for the security and operational integrity of the DataReality workspace. This guide outlines the core capabilities available to the Admin role.
1. User Management
Administrators maintain the list of authorized personnel.
- Invite Users: Send secure email invitations to new team members. Ensure email addresses match the corporate domain allowlist.
- Deactivate Access: Immediately revoke access for off-boarded employees. This action terminates active sessions and blocks future login attempts.
- Re-send Invites: Manage pending invitations that have expired (48-hour window).
2. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
DataReality uses a granular permission model to protect sensitive data.
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| System Admin | Full access to all settings, user management, and audit logs. |
| Quality Manager | Can approve reports (PSUR, FMEA) and manage risk files. |
| Contributor | Can edit inputs and draft reports but cannot finalize/sign off. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to dashboards and finalized PDFs. |
3. Audit Logs
For 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, all administrative actions are strictly logged.
- Access Logs: Timestamps of every user login and logout.
- Change Management: Records of who changed a user's role or permission set.
- Security Alerts: Notifications of multiple failed login attempts or suspicious IP activity.
Security Tip: Review the "Active Sessions" report weekly to ensure only authorized devices are connected.
